Our promise to every client
One city. One project. Never your competitor.
Most agencies sign every practice in a market and hope the work never collides. Doc-Rep works with one practice per specialty within 25 miles, so the team that grows your practice is never working for the clinic down the road.
What the promise covers
25-mile area
Measured from your practice address, not the city limits.
Exact specialty
TMS and Spravato are different specialties. Two TMS clinics are the same one.
One project per market
We turn a project down rather than work for two practices that compete for the same patients.
The problem
Two competing practices should never share one agency.
Picture two TMS clinics 12 miles apart, both paying the same agency to rank for “TMS therapy near me.” Only one of them can sit in the top spot.
The agency decides whose page gets the better treatment, whose ad budget gets the better placement and whose reviews get attention first. The practice that loses rarely finds out why. It just sees results that never quite arrive.
This is a conflict of interest, and it is common in healthcare marketing because every new contract looks like revenue. We chose a different rule. When two practices would be fighting for the same patients, we work for one of them and say so to the other.
The promise
Three rules we keep for every client.
25 miles, measured from your address
If a Doc-Rep client already serves your specialty within 25 miles of your practice, we do not take your project. A suburb 20 miles away counts. A city 40 miles away does not.
The exact same specialty
Same specialty means the same audience for the same service. TMS is one specialty. Spravato and ketamine are others. A TMS clinic and a ketamine clinic in one city can both work with us.
One project, every service
The promise covers the whole engagement: SEO, website, ads, reputation, listings and content. No one on our team works on both sides of a local market.
| If we already work with | And a new practice asks | Within 25 miles? | Same specialty? | Result |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| TMS clinic in Austin, TX | TMS clinic in Round Rock, TX (about 18 miles) | Yes | Yes | Not possible |
| TMS clinic in Austin, TX | Spravato clinic in Austin, TX | Yes | No | We can work with both |
| TMS clinic in Austin, TX | TMS clinic in Dallas, TX (about 195 miles) | No | Yes | We can work with both |
| Dermatology practice in Denver, CO | Dermatology practice in Boulder, CO (about 30 miles) | No | Yes | We can work with both |
Examples are for illustration. They are not client names.
Why we do it
We would rather turn a project down than work against our own client.
The conflict
An agency serving two practices that compete for the same patients has to choose which one gets the better page, the better ad placement and the faster response. Someone loses, and the doctor is rarely told.
Our rule
We do not put ourselves in that position. When a practice near you in your specialty is already our client, we say so plainly and early, and we do not take the project. It costs us revenue. It keeps our work honest.
What it means for you
An agency that is on your side of the market.
A plan built only for you
Your keywords, content, ads and review plan are written for your practice. They are never reused for the clinic next door.
Full focus on your market
When we study your local competitors, none of them is our client. Every ranking and ad decision is made for you.

What does “One City, One Project” mean?
It means we work with one practice per specialty in any 25-mile area. If we already work for a practice that treats the same patients near you, we do not take your project. You hear that from us at the start, before you pay or sign anything.
How do you decide that two practices have the same specialty?
We look at who the practice is trying to reach and what service it offers. Two practices that target the same audience with the same service are the same specialty. TMS is one specialty. Spravato and ketamine are different specialties, so a TMS clinic and a ketamine clinic in the same city do not conflict. Two TMS clinics do.
What counts as the same city?
Any practice within 25 miles of yours. We measure from the practice address, not the city limits. A practice in a suburb 20 miles away counts. A practice 40 miles away does not.
What if a practice near me already works with Doc-Rep?
We tell you plainly, usually within one working day of your request. You can choose a different service area, wait to see whether the slot opens, or stay in touch for a later date. You never pay for the check.
I have more than one location. How does that work?
We check each location by its own address and its own 25-mile area. One location may be open while another is not. We tell you which.
Do you work with competing practices outside the 25 miles?
Yes. A TMS clinic in Austin and a TMS clinic in Dallas are not competing for the same patients, so the promise does not stop us from working with both.
Does the promise cover every service?
Yes. It covers the whole engagement: SEO, website, Google Ads, reputation, listings and content. We do not run one service for you and a different service for your nearest competitor.
What happens when an engagement ends?
The slot opens again for other practices in your specialty and area. If you want to return later, tell us and we will check whether it is still open.
Do you offer this outside the United States?
The availability check and the 25-mile promise are for practices in the United States. If your practice is outside the US, contact us directly at hello@doc-rep.com or through the contact page.
